MOUTHWORD & TECHNIQUE
All these flutes require precise and controlled breathing . The mouthpiece is placed vertically or at an angle depending on the model, creating a fine stream of air directed against the bevel. Learning may seem difficult at first, but regular practice allows the full richness of the timbre to be revealed. Each instrument reacts differently to breathing: the more you control it, the more the flute reveals its nuances.
